can i tap into oil feed on the head of my h22?
on the intake side of th headin the center, as well as the passenger side corner there is 3 copper plugs, be fore trhe vtec soloniod, an i tap into one of these for my feedline/pressure gage?
for true pressure i would tap off the block by your sending unit, use a T. it worked out great for me.....oh and btw dont use brass fittings once there in they are hard to get out. use a" earls "fitting
Unless you are trying to pinpoint an oil pressure problem, installing it in the block is the best place. If you were eating cams or something but had plently of oil pressure in the block then you would want to install that in the head to check oil pressure there. But for he most part, installing a oil pressure guage you wanna put it in the block.
why would you do this? tapping into the oil feed to the head....

Remember that if you plan to keep the stock sending unit-you need to run a line from the block to a tap block mounted on the firewall - do not put the "T" on the block. Also, if using a mechanical guage-be sure to use Earl's/Aeroquip/Autometer braided stainless lines ithru the firewall. For that matter use a braided line to your tap block too.
yea right? try a couple hrs..... unless you have a lift tapping a t off the block
is going to take a long while... if this is for a turbo dont take short cuts. tap off the block
