Default oil pressure source

i am in the process of installing a oil pressure gauge there seems to be two oil ports on the head below the distributor an there seems to be one on the back alittle above the intake does anyone know if any of these can be use as a good source of pressure for the gauge thanks

Get a sandwich plate adaptor for the oil filter. Easier solution. Using head pressure is never a good idea. You won't see pressure drop off as.fast.

i have a sandwhich plate but i am using the 2 fittings for my oil cooler and the oem oil sensor in the back as my turbo feed

I would t it off, then. Like I said, oil pressure drop off is a lot slower in the head so for the sake of accuracy I would use the block.
