Ha, h22a are even worse. you can barley get to 90 before vtec switch.

 

I wish i had a sixth gear, i just ran new exhaust and it sucks driving on the highway.

 

ahhhh yes, my 5th gen tranny is nice and long.... 80mph on the interstate, 5th gear, cruising around 3500-4000rpms, it'll be even better when the APR wing is gone

 

I know this is a little off the topic but, doesn't that red light by your tach mean that your airbags/airbag sensor is bad?

i have an h22....but my tranny is different...i can hit almost 120 in 4th....and in fifth i wont vtec till 100mph...and thats with my lowered vtec point of 4700....i can cruise at 90 at around 4200 all day...peace

Do you have a h22a tranny on your H23 boosted?

 

Mine's a 5th gen and does 80 @ 4000 rpm. I like to cruise at 80, and that just sucks in the gas lol. Like I said, wish I could do 80 at around 2500 or so, but then again I'd actually have to shift to pass

 

I dunno about ya'll, but mine doesnt kick over to the big cam till 100 MPH in 5th gear. Havent been all that observent in a while though so I may be wrong.

 

ah...the pleasure of driving a prelude with custom gear/final drive setup.

90mph in 5th @ ~4000rpm...not to mention over 140mph in 4th (by 8000rpm) ...

 

my tranny may be an accord tranny, but its an H22 tranny...people have been looking for my tranny code for some time with no luck...i can also easily top over 150...i bury the needle at lik 6900..still have 1000 to go, and its still pulling
