2000 EXV6 Check engine light
Hey guys whats up? My CEL comes on my accord, and i frequently reset it by disconnecting the battery. Like for example, last spring, summer and fall, it never came on once. But the previous winter and this winter it did again. The engine seems to be fine, no funny sounds, no loss of power. I am curious if there is anything you might know that is tempature sensitive that might throw a code. I know I should go have it checked out, but any help would be greatly appreciated in the mean time! Thanks
the v-6 vehicles have a problem with the egr ports clogging up which will cause your light to come on, but no noticable driving problems. It is covered by honda's extended emmissions warranty for 80,000 miles. Could be the problem you are having,it will code a po401 trouble code.
My friend have the exact same car and exact same problem
it turn out to be a bug, the seat beat bucket is faulty, replace with
no charge along with the burn out clock light and car wash..
