Question on building engine
I have a question for you guys this is directed to anyone who knows a good bit about cars by the way I have a 1997 Honda Accord Auto I'm doing a H22a Manual conversion I'm planning on building the engine and turbo charging it with a T60-1 @ 20psi it my question is What should I get done to my engine for this application?
Im thinking of just porting and polishing it
Boring it out But I don't know what to?
and sleeves and of course low compresion internals
anyone have any suggestions or experiance with this
anything would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Vic

Well so far you seem pretty correct on what you are doing, Resleeving will probably be a neccesity because the stock sleeves are definately not strong enough to handle that kind of boost. I love the idea of the port and polish, but boring it out is not neccesary. I would definatly put my money towards internals, especially if you want to run that high on boost. anyways thats just my $0.02, and good luck on the build.
I would definately spend your money on building the internals very well. Make sure to take it to a reputable shop to have any machining done. Try to get it on a flow bench. Resleaving is a must to run that kind of boost. Now if you were running a f22b1.............................
