Default Missing Distributor

I couldnt believe it when i looked at my b16a2 more closely at home. The distributor (and i mean the whole damn assembly) was missing. I could touch the cam with my finger! ARGH!

Anyway, do i have to get a b16 distributor, or can i implant one from say my d15?

Hmm... I'm pretty sure the ignition coils are the same for almost all Honda EFI models from '92 till '00. Not sure about the dissy though...

Can anyone help here? I'd like to know the answer to this too...

A D series distributor will not work, i have tried it. You can use a 92-93 GS-R dist., Del Sol VTEC Or modify a 94^ LS distributor to work.

I have a B16a2, which is supposedly OBD2. I want to drop it into my EG, and keep everything OBD1. Does this mean i have to get the distributor from a JDM b16a or B16a1?

You would have to get and obd1 distributor off a 94-95 del sol VTEC or off a JDM second gen B16 to make it work on you EG. Which, just so happen I have one for sale...PM me if you want more details

We have used a single cam obd1 dist on a b16. Basically all legs have to be chopped off and you need to make a bracket. We only did it to get the car to run. In no way should you do it though. We end up getting a dist from a GSR.
