Default Traction for the DC5

Here's the deal. My friend and I are currently putting nitrous on his RSX-S. At the strip we're planning on pushing a 125 shot. Traction, obviously, is going to be an issue.

Currently, the car is outfitted with progress lowering springs, front and rear sway bars and a rear lower tiebar. Potenza S03's round out the contact system.

What kind of things can we do/buy to ensure traction when we spray. 60 foots already suffer badly and wheelhop is a major issue. I've heard good things about the little strut-dampner thing. Anybody have experience with them?
Any other products (traction bars, pillowball mounts, stabilizers, bars/rods/beams) that help the DC5 stay planted?

Thanks in advance, fellas.

There are a few cars on CRSX that have been pushing a 125 shot for quite some time now on stock internals and everything has been ok so far.
As for traction issues this has always been a major problem for honda/acura due to the FWD we all have. Somethings you may want to invest in are
Hasport motor mounts, engine damper, stickier tires, and from there you can invest in a complete suspension set up which you can tune for the track.

But if you want some quick results just invest in some sticky tires, damper and just feather the clutch. Good luck bro and keep us posted on the times the 125 shot produces. So far I have heard of a stock Base automatic RSX that was using a 125 shot and ran a 12.8 in the 1/4 mile, so the Type S times should be amusing.

AEM CAI and Greddy EVO2 Exhaust. It's safe. We wouldn't be doing it otherwise .

We're hoping for mid 12's when all is said and done.

Explain to me the process of equipping a Type-S with a Type-R LSD. If it were easy enough for busy college students to do in a weekend, I'm sure that's what we'd do.

Yes, yes. Nobody in my group of friends is blind enough to overlook the significance of good, sticky rubber. That's why I'm not asking about slicks and drag radials. I'm in need of as much information about stopping engine movement, suspension travel, wheelhop and basic loss of traction as anyone can muster.

Thanks for the thought though

place racing motor mounts or energy suspension motor mount inserts will elliminate your wheel hop. AFter that, get a short shifter, lightened flywheel, racing clutch, and hd pp. That will help A LOT.
