Default stroke on f23a

anyone know what the stroke of a f23 is. i'm trying to calculate the displacement of a h22 block bored to 89mm with a f23 crank. i dont know if this is similar to using the h23 cranks or not but anyone see any reliability issues with that setup if the whole bottom end is balance?

thanks

is the stroke 87 or 97 cause when i calculate the f23 displacement with the 86 mm bore and 87 stroke i only get 2.02 L but if i use a 97 stroke it gets 2.25 L.

am i doing something wrong? i'm calculating it using the following equation:

displacement = raidus of bore squared x pi x 4, then convert to L from by dividing by 1000000

I believe the f23 cranks have a 97mm stroke. I am looking into this as well for my new stroker cranks.

88.5 bore and 97mm stroke only gives ~2387 cc where are you gettin 2.5L from?

since you have experience with stroking engines, would do you predict the reliability with the f23 crank be better, worst, or the same as with puttin in a f22 or h23 crank into an h22?

F22 B: 85 S: 95
F23 B: 86 S: 87
H22 B: 87 S: 90.7
H23 B: 87 S: 95
ohh i was thinking you got a 86mm bore are you get 2.3 with a 97mm stroke
and you get 87mm bore with a 90mm stroke and you get 2.3 i was just thinking if you put the crank in a h23 on a stock bore you could get a 2.4 or at least the #'s will round off to a 2.4 but i must me wrong

acutally 2.4 is about right with a 88.5mm bore, its just that you said 2.5 earlier so i didnt know how you got that.

It will depend on if the crank is a forged crank or not. That is what I am looking into. I would not expect any less reliability than what I currently have if the crank is forged. If not, I don't feel it will be strong enough to hold up to 8000RPM blasts down the track for any length of time. At this point I can't tell you for sure... but I will be trying it in the near future just to see if it works.
