Default ECU FUSE location

Hello, i just purchased a AEM CAI and i want to reset the ecu. I opened the fuse box under the hood, but i wanted to know which one is the ecu fuse. Im guessing the one that says "MAIN" is the ecu? somebody correct me if im wrong. Is the MAIN fuse the ecu fuse? Thanks.

DAMN you thread hi-jacker! okay i'll tell u. When i do, lets just try to get these people to tell us the ecu fuse location.

to reset the ecu, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Then, unplug the ecu fuse (thas what im lookin for). THen, step on the brakes a couple of times to make sure that all the electricity has flowed out of the car. Leave the car for about 5 minutes or more. When you come back, plug in the Ecu fuse and reconnect the negative battery terminal. Start the engine and turn off all the electrical devices. Let the car idle for about 7-10 minutes. Turn off the engine. VIOLA! your cars ecu has been resetted. No more questions on resetting the ecu.

pull fuse #13 in the passenger side fusebox for 10 seconds or longer.

resets without pulling the battery wires off

it's not the fuse for the ECU itself, but i think it's the one you want mojo.

all the fuse 13 does is disable the clock. Nothing else.

This is correct, however, may I add that after you put the fuse back in, start the car WITHOUT touching the gas and let it idle for at least 1 minute without giving it any gas.

Helms manual doesn't reccomend any "idle relearn" procedure.

To let the ecu relearn the idle speed
you let the car run for ten minutes.

you can pull the fuse and wait, or you can remove the negative from the battery for like 1 second and you are done..
if you like to pull the fuse, press the brake padel couple of time to release the remaing electrons.
let it idle for 5-10 min.

LOL, sorry to tell you that it doesnt fix your problem.
CEL is not suppose to be on and off, you gotta have something wrong.
try to pull a code and see what it's up with your CEL.

anyway, as far as performance goes, you can be lazy and not reset the ecu,
it will "learn" by itself after sometime

Everything reseted even the Clock, Radio, and Alarm went on. So dat means my ECU didn't get Reseted?

OK i just pull fuse #13 and remove Black Wire Terminal and waited avout 5 min then plau the fuse back in and the Terminal and let it Idle 10 min then shut it off.
Then about 5 min later i went to turn it on than put it in R than i put it in D4 than light came on. ???Y

When you take out the fuse for the clock, you lose power to the controls on your doors. Go figure.

just because you reset the ECU doesn't mean the code goes away forever

Obviously you have a problem. the light keeps turning back on.

get the code from it.
