i hear that palmdale is the best one so far because the track is good. my friends wanted me to goto ontario, but i heard that the times are inaccurate or the track sucks. i will be rolling on stock w/ just a jdm itr swap in an EJ. i'm hoping to run 13's. i ono. my friend's bro ran 13.4 w/ cheaters in a hatchy. bone stock also. maybe 13.8 for me?

Whoever told you that lie should be kicked in the face! There are countless reasons why Palmdale sucks.
1) the elevation
2) some people say the track is slanted
3) dirt from the motocross track blows over to the drag strip
4) it's in the desert, weather sucks ***!
5) blah blah blah

In So Cal, I would have to say Pomona hands down. I just hate the wait. You wait like 3 hrs for one run.


there's a legal track in Ontario?? Mabye Fontana (a couple miles from Ontario)

then probably fontana, carlsbad and then palmdale.

didnt they close down the street legals @ pomona a while back? i believe the best track would be fontana. theres always irwindale, but thats 1/8th mile. a guy at my school ran a 13.66 in a EG/EH w/ a bolt-on ITR swap @ fontana. this was on street tires i believe.

 

yeah the street legals are closed at pomona, so no more...

fontana is great, but its so damn far.
palmdale is close, but the times are depressing... and i hate saying "but my corrected time would be..."
and the track doesn't slant till AFTER then 1/4 at Palmdale.

 

any idea what i would run w/ shitty tires n stock wheels w/ 96 jdm itr and i/h/e/test pipe? yeah, i'll be powershifting.

 

yia the track at palmdale really sucks. ive ran there a couple of times and im pretty embarrassed at my times. i dont want to blame it on the track. there was a integra type r there running 15.1-15.3. also depeneds on when u go. some times the track is dusty.

Why does Carlsbad rank so low? Have not run there yet, I'm curious.

 

Carlsbad has a crap burnout box. The launch surface sucks. The track seems to be covered in a 1/16'' layer of dirt. 90%of the facility is not paved. Pot holes are more common than the members of there staff that are inbred. They do have a kick *** elev. I have run my best time there.

palmdale is the worst track as u probably herd already..try pomona..alot of people like that track.

 

ooh the old school track.. u guys ever got to see a TYPE -R that has a crazy idle.. like domestics???? man we havent been to watson for awhile.. always by the 91fwy.. i bet you guys go there too....

but lately we jsut hit up ontraio.... *****s who want to run their **** stay until 4..... glad to say ontario is live and kicking.... oh yeah occasionally.. ******* are popping out.... man the scenery hehehehe

 

so then what track would be good if i say, wanted to more than 4 runs in the entire day? From what you guys say, Pomona is packed.

 

u know the day is hot... and i dont think you want to put that much stress on ur car.. and believe me.... you would think you want more... but then you will be satsified with a couple casue u dont want to over do it... or maybe im wrong..... it all depends on the track and the participants bro...
