what are you race only guys using for external fuel pumps? I am looking for something that can support 300+ whp, that has -AN fittings, and is reasonably priced....

any suggestions? (other than Aeromotive)

go to jegs. I just bought a 500lb/hr aeromotive pump for 280. It will support up to 700whp on a FI motor. and close to 1kwhp on a all motor setup. It is -10an lines in and out. You will need an aeromtive fuel filter also, got everything for less that 400shipped. If this is what your looking for, let me know, i'll find the part numbers for you.

 

whatever you do dont buy an SX pump or regulator......

I was about to use it until I switched to crystal meth.....I mean meth.
So I was gonna use it on my next car

I have heard bad things about them, and some people say they are fine, but I have never heard anybody say that they LOVE their aeromotive...

 

take a look at Weldon...they are very nice, but pricey too...I think the part number that most imports use retail around 800 bucks

 

ive seen this a lot lately. sx and aeromotive are similar but not exactly the same. ive heard of a cpl sx pumps failing as well as their regulators. sx **** even costs more than aeromotive!!!! it maybe due to the internal construction of the pump components itself? aeromotive is the low balla gucci ****...it works

 

yea, the aeromotive will work fine. And if your on a budget, the price is great. I just bought a 500lb/hr pump from them.

i heard sx makes the aeromotive? a couple of my friends run the sx pump and regulator, and they've never complained about them. i've been using an sx regulator for about 3 years and it also still works just like new?

 

I thought aeromotive bought out paxton. If sx makes the aeromotive line, maybe they make it better than some of their other products, kinda like a higher/better quality line.

 

if we go just by price, the sx stuff is more expensive. also, side by side between the aeromotive vs sx on their pump and regulators, the machining quality is higher on the sx, but that's jsut my opinion.

 

wow, well just prove my theory wrong damn you . Yea, i was unsure, well I guess in a week i'll beable to tell you guy how good the aeromtive holds up to the abuse. I'm putting it on my street car and hoping for around 500whp.

can you run this pump on the street?? i knwo the 2035 can only run for 3 minutes or so. I have been running the aeromotive for 6 months w/o any problems at 500+whp weekly.
