today i finally finished my b16a2 swap into my del sol...previously the car was auto and i changed it too 5 speed..the car started and drove perfect, everythign is fine, except for the fact i can't get the key outa the ignition when i shut it off, i know this has something to do with the car previously needing to be in park to get the key out...what do i need to do to be able to get the key out?? i feel like an idiot

 

Wow that sucks .... have you tried putting it in each gear when the cars off and trying to remove the key? I don't if that would help but bump for you.

 

my friend and i just finished a auto to manual swap in his accord. we had to jump the shift lock soleniod to get the key out,but that would also cause it not to start. make sure whatever you jumped didnt come loose while you were driving.
