Default LCD Mounted to Pillar

I'm thinking of mounting a 5.6" lcd screen on the pillar down close to the dashboard. The place where some people like to put their super monster tachs. Yes or no

Here's an example:

Do you plan on watching TV while driving? Please do us a favor and just drive your car without the TV, please?

Thats not a bad sopt for it. I wouldnt have one on the driver's side though. pass. sode would be ok. there is the theft problem but maybe you dont have to worry about that.

Its not legal to mount it in a place where the driver can view it.

At least in washington state

if i was a cop, and i saw you rolling around with that thing on (and dont try to say you wouldnt drive around with it on) I would have a field day with you because that spot is highly visible to all traffic around you....especially a cop with a craving for some rice.

I say go for it!! Why not??? The way people ride"NOT DRIVE" here in Orlando you might as well put a popcorn machine in the passenger seat!! Especially if you sit in Traffic all day behind Soccer Mom with One child and the Mack Daddy Super Diesel 350!!

my personal suggestion would be the sun visor, that way when you dont need it to be on you just can flip it back up to the ceiling

That would be stolen within one hour of being out in public. I have mine sitting on my drink tray its a 5.6 widescreen. Fits and looks nice under the cd player and since I dun smoke and dont like drinking anything while Im driving I have no use for the tray or the ash tray under the tray. With some dark tint and the dvd player mounted under the passenger side seat it helps reduce the theft factor besides not too many thieves around here. If you want it up like that then get a sun visor monitor for the passenger side thats my next plan. Theyre good for shows and you can fold them back up to prevent thieves from seing it in plain view.
