Default PS2 in car????

When you mount one in your car isnt it bad when you go over bumps? Has everyone ever broke thier ps2 in there car from just daily driving and hitting bumps? is there any special way to mount this to prevent it?

My friends broke from being bounced around in his car (it was mounted, bounced around via road bumps etc), don't keep it in there permanently

My friends is mounted under the passenger side seat. If it is bolt to the frame of the seat, you'll be alright. It is a b!tch to get in though.

pickup1,

I really like your setup - I'm trying to do something similar. Did you hardwire
the inverter to the battery? And how much of a pain was it to get that LCD in
the dash like that? Did you completely remove the stereo?

i ran a 8 gauge wire straight to the battery.had problems when was plugged into cig.lighter.got a radio shack aux.outlet.plugged the invertor into that.the lcd is alittle nigged.without the little pocket installed in the audio console, there is a big hole,i just pushed the lcd housing into it.it was alittle hard.that lcd was designed for a headrest application,so it has a housing around it.has gaps on the side, might put somewhere else so i can put some gauges down there.anybody for a game of nba live 2003?

Nice Set-up . Where do you have the sound for the ps2 hooked up? ( If there is any sound).
