When you mount one in your car isnt it bad when you go over bumps? Has everyone ever broke thier ps2 in there car from just daily driving and hitting bumps? is there any special way to mount this to prevent it?
had mine in my car for over 2 years...never any problems with it....needs to be done correctly tho....don't go to no cheasy install place..if it's put in right you won't have any problems
i put mine here(havent made a trim peice yet,and looking for smaller invertor)
and put my monitor here
works well, easy to get to.now if i could only hide that invertor.......
pickup1,
I really like your setup - I'm trying to do something similar. Did you hardwire
the inverter to the battery? And how much of a pain was it to get that LCD in
the dash like that? Did you completely remove the stereo?

i ran a 8 gauge wire straight to the battery.had problems when was plugged into cig.lighter.got a radio shack aux.outlet.plugged the invertor into that.the lcd is alittle nigged.without the little pocket installed in the audio console, there is a big hole,i just pushed the lcd housing into it.it was alittle hard.that lcd was designed for a headrest application,so it has a housing around it.has gaps on the side, might put somewhere else so i can put some gauges down there.anybody for a game of nba live 2003?

Nice Set-up
. Where do you have the sound for the ps2 hooked up? ( If there is any sound).
