Default Jackson Racing RSX dyno.

Hondata got to test out Jackson Racing's first supercharger and this is what they said:
The JRSC RSX-S made 270 wheel HP on a Dynapack dyno at 8900 rpm and the power was still climbing.

On Jackson racing's Dynojet this car made 259 hp at 9300 rpm and (256 at 8900 rpm) - and get this, the car was only running 4.5-4.8 lb of boost. This is almost 100 wheel HP over a stock RSX-S.

This is just the beginning of the tuning. We are going to try more boost and different cams, but for now the car is really fun to drive.

To put this in perspective, the previous best Honda we tuned was an H22A Prelude with 10 % greater engine capacity running twice the boost - 10psi. It made 255 Hp on Jackson Racing's dynojet.

The car ran an AEM CAI, test pipe, DC exhaust, JRSC headers 440 CC RC injectors and a prototype custom Hondata program.

The JRSC Civic at 6.8 lb of boost ran 181 hp at about 7800 rpm.

A turbo civic was tested at about 170 hp, but that had not been tuned by Hondata

here are the dyno's-

Torque units printed in wheel not flywheel torque. Divide the numbers by 5.028 and you will find peak torque is 169 ftlb at 7000 rpm. Torque from 5500-8500 rpm is substantial.

On a dynojet the figures are about 12-15 hp lower.

Peak power is at 9300 rpm, but for the sake of the engine we kept the run under 8900 rpm.

The red curve is the highest NA RSX we have tested (Ron's). The yellow hard to see curve is a well tuned supercharged ITR running 9 lb of boost

180hp for the supercharger Si? That is very disapointing IMO. There are people on Ephatch.com that have dynoed there cars at around 150+ whp with simple bolt ons and then JRSC wants at least 3k so you can get 30 more hp that just plain sucks!!!!!!!

I dont believe in that JRSC numbers with that low boost. I would say impossible. lol, about more than 120bhp than stock.

The JRSC car had headers, CAI, test pipe and catback, and a custom Hondata prototype tune. The Hondata tuning was worth about about 40 peak HP. In total this gives almost 100 hp over a stock vehicle.

We verified this on two different dynos. Boost was measured at 4.5 lb on one and 4.8 lb on another.

English? I think in translation, he was trying to say that the poor SI numbers for the jackson SC is just an SI thing.
