suspension problems
lately i been driving in my car and there seem to be a problem with my suspension or something related, but not too sure what it is. the probelm is this whenever i drive over a bump or coarse road it seem to make a shreaking noise in the front driver side. can someone help?????
I am also having this problem. 2002 Accord V6, no modifications to the vehicle. The car has 19k, amassed over 13 months. I've been to the dealership twice already, and they've failed to fix the problem. They 1) replaced the strut, and 2) added lubricant to the area.
For me, the squeak occurs on the front passenger side, and is most noticeable going over bumps in the road, but i also hear it (quieter) when just turning the wheel or braking. You can put pressure on the car's front right wheel and hear the noise in both the downward and upward motions. It's a fairly low-pitched noise. It seems to be louder after longer trips, but that could be my imagination.
The original poster can comment on whether this matches his problem, but it sounds like the same thing. Any suggestions to try before i take this back to the dealership a THIRD time?
