I want to know how hard installing this diff in a b series tranny. To all the experience people in here that done this, please I need to know what exactly needs to be done. Thank you in advance. It's more likely in a gsr tranny.

You have to:

Split the tranny.

Pull the speedo gear off the old differential (requires a gear puller) and heat it to put it on the new one.

Pull the bearings off both sides of the diff (couldnt find a gear/bearing puller that would fit so I bought new ones ~ $60)

Shim the new bearings to 12-23 lb/ft resistance with the case halves closed.

Not for the weak at heart.

i just got finished installing mine and it was a very big pain. also here is a tip when removing the speedo drive gear make sure not to dent or chip the gear when removing it. i did and had to spend hours fileing down the rough spots to fix it(and you cant just buy the gear you must buy the carrier from acura witch comes with the gear. this has been the first time i have taken a honda tranny apart and everything went very well. just make sure to take your time and watch for falling ball bearings.
