What a/f gauge do u guys use?
I was just wondering what a/f gauge you guys are using and what do u think about them? Also what does a wideband o2 senser do? Thanx in advance.
a/f gauge = pretty lights, basically a rich lean meter. black and white
wide band sensors give you an accurate reading of the a/f mixture.
thats what i use

I have no problem at all ordering from Aus. I was just wondering if any companies in the U.S carried these or any other ones. I am now searching like i should have done in the first place but thinks for the info guys. You are always a big help.
The two most common around here are the TechEdge unit, and the one from FJO...

the more hp you make, the more need you might find for one of these.. - Australian kit is more reasonably priced and its already assembled, theres one DIY in U.S for much less money, but you have to do more assembly..
The Autometer A/F Guage really doesn't work.
I guess it looks cool though
......
The Aussy DIY Wideband is a really nice unit. Customer service is great. It only took 4 or 5 days to receive my Wideband O2 sensor when I ordered it back in May.
I have the Techedge intergrated into my AEM EMS and the two combined can do DataLogging as well as Automatic Fuel Mapping. Which has made tuning on the fly real easy.

FWIW, Im gonna be running a Halmeter gauge once I get the ECU installed...
i have got a defi "d-gauge"
a lot more acurate then autometer, because it reads in numbers

As long as the car is tuned well, an a/f gauge is basically useless. That's all.
[edit]
As sgt (and many others!) have already said: an a/f gauge without a wideband is just pretty lights.

An in-car wideband O2 is also pretty useless in a mild to moderately modded car especially without a stand alone tuning device.
