Poll: H22a Valves (top brands) reliability and performance......
building a h22a normally aspirated motor and was curious on you guys for feedback on valves...
couple things to keep in mind..
stock size because of stage 3 cams used.
reliability = less prone to dropping, mushrooming, chatter, melt, better quality stainless.. heat tolerances etc...
Performance = swirl pattern, PVD coating (does it help) design, if it helps in flows, anything performance related...
two things...
want a RELIABLE motor that won't blow after a couple weeks but want performance...
PRICE NOT AN ISSUE but no TITANIUM VAVLES ! Stainless..
here are what i was thinking about...
Please don't post needless comments or "rather smoke up all day" ..... etc..
thanx guys!!
if you don't know please don't vote.. experience is an asset...

I thought we went over this already ferrea gets the nod on this again. you were inquiring about there 20-22 degree stuff did you get the answer you were looking for?
oh don't forget to get their valve locks with the valves keep the valve from pull'in through the retainer or breaking the retainer
yeah i figured it out... they only have one make for the ferrea for h22a from a production line perspective ... the 20 and 22 degree's correspond to their ports.. the intake ports and exaust ports use different degrees on the valve... their exaust valves are made from a different aloy than the intakes but the intake have a worked stem...
I'm getting them.. just having second doubts.. that's all
... all you guys know best since you use them probably alot more than anybody else i know so it's a good reference....
for crower titanium retainers would you get the crower locks or ferrea locks ?

I promise you, you cannot go wrong with Ferrea, I use only Ferrea valves in the Bullish heads , Sav Leone's, heads- the venom team uses them, steph pap.,the names go on and on --monkey see, monkey do. you have to use the crower locks if they have them ferrea locks only work with their retainer
