take the breather off when the cars running and see if smoke keeps pouring out. If it stops then your breathers clogged byt if it doesn't you got some problems. I suggest running a catch can and getting rid of the breather.

Get a compression and leakdown test...

Also maybe use some 5w30 or thicker oil.... how much mileage is on the motor?

also check the one little box under the intake manifold (cant remember what its called) it has a vacume line running to it, make sure the line isnt creased or bent....my friends gsr motor had the exact same problem and this is what it turned out to be

Same thing hear. Smoke coming out of catchcan (PCV and Breather tubes).
Compression Test- 130psi and 180 wet.
Is this ring gapping or the cylinder walls out of round?
Maybe cylinder to piston clearances?
What is the correct ring gapping tool?Maybe not squred rings?

JE rings and 9.1 comp. pistons(set up for turbo)
Top-3.184 X .006= .019
Secondary-3.184 X .045=.014
oil control ring=.015

If it is the PCV valve, can you tell it is bad buy checking the oil pressure?
