I am about to tune with my new DFI, and don't wanna invest in bigger injectors right now. I want to know what horsepower range should I expect with a set of 550's. This is on a DRAG III Turbonetics turbo that came with the kit. I don't know if it's a "B" or "E".
Besides I was thinking with the turbo that came with the kit, the 550's would be sufficient for the horespower the turbo would put out......right????

they depend on fuel pressure and many other factors. but if oyu plan on running them at say 70psi on boost then they should supply enough fuelfor 400hp

 

70psi.......right now it's at 40psi???
But the main thing I wanna know is will the 550's be sufficient for the turbo that I have?

Well, then you have to figure out what kind of turbo you have. Is it B or E?

 

If I could remember....I remember someone telling me I had the smaller out of the two.

 

remember,as you boost your fuel pressure goes up 1 psi for every 1 psi of boost,,so boosting 20psi youll be at 60psi with your current setting.

I have 550 with my drag 3 kit. I made 302 hp at the wheels at 14psi.
