Please help me decide, skunk2 stage 1, 2 or used supercharger for under $2,000
First off, I have a b18c in a 91 CRX si with a 92 GSR YS1, h/i/e/c+f/chipped p28/fuel pump, pressure and regulator. I want to have power, some reliability, and spend no more then $2k so I can't decide if I should go with the stage 1, 2, or a used supercharger. It's cold here in MN and I'm not really up to the task of taking the whole engine apart yet. Also keep in mind, I don't have the tools or knowledge to do pistons, valve springs, etc. so I would have to pay for labor. Here are the questions.
1. Skunk2 stage 1s don't require an upgraded valve train (which is a plus=save money) but will I make good amount of power on a stock b18c compression/ how much? I know higher compression makes more but how much more because I don't really want to take the motor apart for new pistons and such if the gains are not much compaired to stock.
2. Stage 2 makes good power but how much more then stage 1s? I haven't really heard or see people making more then 200 whp, is this right? You also got to have high compression + extras and labor for pistons and valve train which would almost break the $2,000 buget.
3. Should I just forget about staying na and get a used supercharger + extras to make it work right? You get about 50 horses + headaches later if the charger has problems.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

If you're up to taking the head off and changing the springs & retainers, I'd go for the stg2 cams and gears to tune them, although with stock compression the gains won't be huge. Otherwise CTR/ITR cams may be another option for you.
since u have stock compression no question get the charger. the skunk stage 1s would work well w/ stock compression but it will not take out a JRSC. the skunk stage 2s would b overkill and u will lose power in low to mid because u dont have the compression to run them properly. JRSC gets my vote.
hondaatwsu, tell me more about your setup. Have you dyno your car yet?
Junkyard turbo sounds very good but do you guys think a rev hard 2c kit would be better? It's over the budget but if it's 1k more then all motor or the charger, I might as well save up for it. Will run it at 6 pounds until I build the block.
