Default Yet Another Victim to the Crime-Ring...

I don't know if this is or was someone's CW Integra Type R from these forums, but while searching the local Auto Trader website, I came up to this.

It's sad to see, and makes me not want to buy a Type R anymore - since I know, that there is a good chance it will get stolen.

Year : 1998
Make : ACURA
Model : INTEGRA
Model Detail : TYPE R
Price : $7,000 (CAD)
Mileage : Not Available
Payment Info : Purchase
Date: 1/25/03
Features : manual, 2 dr., 1.8L, 4 cyl., gas, front wheel, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, tilt wheel, drivers air bag, passenger air bag, anti-lock brakes
**Comments : THEFT RECOVERY NO ENGINE NO TRANS MISSION NO INTERIOR.**

It's really sad to see this going on, and not even the best alarm can stop a theif from getting to what they want.

P.S. Notice all the vehicles in this theft recovery center are high-end Japanese/Asian imports? You've got the ITR, then a GSR behing it, an Eclipse to the left of it, and a couple more Teg's in the background.

It would be a good project car. But $7000 for a shell is just a bit too much... I'm surprised they didnt strip the suspension components + brakes?!?!

It looks 4 lug to me.

Notice all the vehicles in this theft recovery center are high-end Japanese/Asian imports?
Sorry, but those are far from "high-end".

uhmm it looks liek 4 lug cause it IS 4 lug. that's a 4 lug spare.

and like Reid said, integras and eclipses are not high end imports. I laughed my *** off when reading that.

sucks for the ex-owners/victims of those cars though

I thought that at first it may be mine...but I had the factory aero kit(would have a hole in the rear bumper cover and no side skirts then) and tinted windows. Still a sad sight to see.....

I've seen the car.

It's originally from New Jersey.

Prestige (who is selling the car) buys all their theft recoveries and insurance write-offs from the USA.

The car has no interior (except for a bare dash), no 5 bolt, no front end parts and of course no powertrain

It is $7000 CAD which is about $4700 USD give or take

Good eye to those who noticed the four bolt. My monitor's brightness is lower, so I couldn't see that.

What I meant by "high-end" is that the motors are worth a good deal of dough, and exterior/interior parts.
