Default ZC trubo project ?

I've gone through 3 Mitsubishi TD05-12G turbos (From a Starion). Each turbo only lasted 1 -2 days. They dump oil into my intake and exhaust. Is there a better turbo to use. These turbos seem to be garbage to me. Can they with stand the Honda oil pressure? I have a CRX HF manifold which I am using anlong with a Starion FMIC.
Any advice on what a better turbo for this application would be is appreciated. Is there anything I may be over looking? I installed the turbos making sure the oil return was on the bottom with a 3/4 inch return line.

IMO
sounds like u got a hold of turbos with a very bad shaft play and thats where the oil leaked.... i have heard that DSM turbos are famous for that , specially those old turbos

I had a friend with the same problem, but it wasn't the turbo. The line oil line he ran to the turbo was way to big and was dumping way to much oil into it. The supply line for turbo is small and the return line is about twice the size of the feed, as to not allow to much oil and pressure to build. So that may be your problem.

You might want to make sure that your oil return line is as short as possible and flows as straight as possible and as angled down as possible. This could possibly be your problem. If not the oild return it's probably a bad turbo. Try rebuilding one of your old ones, rebuild kits run around $100 (same price as some junkyard turbos and if u do it right and good then u wont need to worry about buying another bad turbo) Also I'm pretty sure my oil return line is ltowards the top of the oil pan and I havent had any oil issues.

From my experience with the Starion turbos I'm not going to rebuild one. I got two of them apart now. Big pain in the ***. Whats another good turbo that I can use with this set up.
