not sure why it's in skafia's defense but the only diff between 98 and 00 spec is the chassis code according to that site. the specs of the cars are no diff.

00 spec had yellow while the other years didn't. That's the only physically diff I can think of.

HONDA * GF-DC2 '00 spec (3 door)
HONDA * GF-DB8 (4 door)

HONDA * E-DC2 '98 spec (3 door)
HONDA * E-DB8 (4 door)

Skafia made a post that we all kinda scoffed at him and sgt even said that there was no 00 Spec. I figured Steve is a good JDM source but seems strange a Japanese site woudl list a 00 SPec if there wasn't something to it.

Only color is sort of dissappointing.

The ONLY difference I see on that entire page is the body code designation.

Goes from E-DC2 to GF-DC2
Everything else is the same.
Nowhere on honda's website nor in any literature I have read has ever
made any note of this. I chalk it up to some regular guy writing about integras
just like any other honda site you see out there. Nothing more

Haha, thanks for defending me guys. I was skeered the other night. Anyway, even though the mentioning of 00Spec isn't very important (since its so obscure and mineut), I still believe there is.

I think I've even seen a 00Spec Type R badge somewhere.. anyway, the changes are there: Introduction of yellow exterior/interior, HIDs, and I think the 2001 integra type r website shows the introduction of the SRS Steering wheel also? Not sure...

There is no mention of a 00 spec ITR anywhere on a Honda site. It just isn't there.
