Vents on DS blow hot, PS is cold.
Hello all... I have a 2003 Honda accord Lx. I was having issues with my air not blowing cold at all, so I took it to a shop and had them recharge it.. it then started to blow cold on the passenger side, and hot on the drivers side with the a/c on. They suggested it was the Blend door actuator. I replaced that part and verified that it is working correctly. I even took the part back off and moved the door with my hand to feel the difference. Even without the motor in place, with me using my hand to move the door... it still blows hot on the drivers side. What else could be causing the issue??

Did they check for leaks?
Honda had info. that an indicator of low refrigerant is when the left dashboard vent is warmer than the right one, with the A/C on; which you previously experienced. When that happens, the evaporator core isn't being flooded with enough liquid refrigerant, causing it to fully vaporize halfway through the core. As a result, the side of the core with some refrigerant (the right side) stays cold, while the side that's fully vaporized (the driver's duct) is warmer by about 20 degrees (or more in some cases).
