I just got my turbo kit from RevHard (2c kit). They sent me a Turbonetics. When I pulled it out of the box and it looked like the turbine and some of the compressor housings were covered in a clear grease, maybe like Lithium or something. Then I noticed that the rubber covers that are placed on the ends werent there so I got worried that maybe they sent me a used turbo or something. Is this normal????

As for the rubber caps missing, I wouldn't worry about it, my friend just bought a brand new turbo kit from them a few months ago abd it didnt have the caps on it.

 

hahahaha, but seriously, is this normal? There is clear grease in the middle of where the turbine and compressor meet.
