h22 engine mounts!!??

Default h22 engine mounts!!??

i know this ? has been asked a dozen times but i need to ask it again. im putting the h22 in my ek, but i dont know what mounts to use. hasport, hcp, place racing?? but heres my main ?, what problems except the 30 mph vibration have u had with ur mount kits? thanks

with the hasport kit do u need anything else with the mount kit or just the mounts, such as cross member?

Get the street compound no matter what kit you buy. They are stiffer than OEM rubber mounts and perfect for weekend drag racing. The race compound is too stiff for everday driving and will rattle your *** numb.

On the EK Civics, if you're using the stock driver's side gel-filled mount, then yes it's very advisable to use the front crossbar. Otherwise, I've seen people's motors tear their stock framerail bracket right off of the frame because of the amount of power their using from the motor. Now, if you get a full urethane driver's side mount (Place Racing has one, HCP is coming out with there's in a couple of weeks), then it feels just like an EG Civic with 3 mounts - I test drove an EK hatch with the HCP prototype mount and there's no movement. The front crossbar is there for extra stability.

I have place racing mounts and they seem fine to me, just when i start the car it rattles a bit.
