I know it's B16B and B18C but just wondering what's the difference with the B16B. I know the bore and stroke is the same but I think the rod length is a little bit longer than that regular B16A. If I change the crank on the B16B to ITR can I get a 1.8 out of it?

Mr.Spoon himself said the first thing he'd do to the CTR engine would be to bore it out to 1.8l. does that answer your question?

However, that 1.8 liter B16B would still maintain its superior R/S ratio over the B18C5.

Just how would the stroked out 16B have a superior R/S over the 18C/C5? Particularly when you will be using the same CRANK and RODS from the 18C/C5?

The block is the same....16B = 18C

what you end up having is 18C + PCT pistons (or whatever pistons you choose to use) in a block with a STAMP of a 16B
