I just got a set of Vision style mirrors for the EG.
I decided to make them fit my CRX. I have to admit it was more difficult than I expected it. I ended up using a thick plastic to make a new base inside the mirror cover so I could bolt it to the car. I removed all the guts inside the base, not the mirror itself.
I also cut an extra piece of base that extended pass the mirror towards the driver.
I cut it flush with the mirror. Once I cut that, the mirror fitted 95% the shape of the EF door.
I actually like these mirrors more than the OEM ones. they have a nice blue tint, non glaring and they give you a better view of the road, although a bit distorted because of the curve on the mirror.
Here are some shots

you know vision makes mirrors for the ef don't you?
These are the vision style copies that go for around $100, but they don't make them for the CRX.

I would love some how-to pics and a better descriptive write out. I know a lot of us EF guys would love to get the spoon knock off mirrors for the EG to fit our EF's, me as one of them! Please post more clearer pics and explain more so me and others can do this also. Thanks!
PS-you car looks nice from the pic and in your sig, have any bigger ones?

Autodynamic now sells these for 88-91 Civic, not sure if that will fit a CRX or not. They are made for TYC and designed specifically for LHD. They have them on sale right now for $90.
They're also making them in powered versions for those of us w/ power mirrors, I might get a set one day.

Yeah, I saw these on ebay recently, but the base is really weird
