Okay, what mirrors do you guys recommend for my EG?
My passenger side OEM is busted up. 
I REALLY, REALLY want the Spoon mirrors, but I'm having trouble rationalizing $300+ for mirrors. 
Suggestions and pics welcomed.

personally I don't mind the looks of the ek mirrors on an eg, but I am going to be headed to a u pull it yard to see if I can maybe custom fit some mirrors. I have a little fiberglass work behind my belt so I might buy some used m3 style mirrors and hack em all up and see if I can make something similar to that of the vision ones. But who knows. good luck to ya 
And oh by the way here is what the EK mirrors look like on the EG. This is a friend of MiGs that is where I got hte pic from. thanks, since I didn't ask to use it...

here's a pic of my eg with EK mirrors just to give ya a better angle..i like em alot..they're like BIG spoon mirrors..haha...mine were free and i needed a pass mirror so i put em on for the time being but i got used to em...if i ever take em off it'll be for vision mirrors...and no they aren't an EXACT bolt on but you only have to modify two lil bolt holes...

damn, and all us "EK" owners are trying to get rid of our mirrors. they are the ugliest mirrors honda has ever made. they are freakin ***** mirrors

well, as much as i love spoon, and just about everything they make, whatever you do, dont get the spoon mirrors, or youll be very dissapointed. the mirrors look great, but they are made out of a very very lightweight and fragile plastic, so one rock on the highway and your $310 mirrors shatter to pieces..bye bye spoon mirrors... 
and again, trust me when i say, that would be a sad thing!! i wanted them too, but my friend ceas said its not a good idea..so vision it is!!

I'd say get those...but if it's too rich for your blood, just get another set of EG mirrors

no bro, they are not the same..im talking about the vision type tc mirrors, completely different.. besides..the spoon mirrors are made by vision, just in that style..

well, it doesnt look like you have many options...if you want to maintain a somewhat stock appearance, id say either the vision type mc, or just some stock mirrors...personally id steer clear of those M3 mirrors...not my style, but maybe youd like them...or if you want to frankenstein some 96-00 mirrors on your car...thats another choice...personally, id go with the visions, theyre not as flimsy as people make them out to be...as far as i know, theyre ABS, so they should withstand some minor impacts...i cant remember a rock pelting my mirror on the freeway hard enough to shatter them...

i'll sell sumone my real EG power fold in mirros for the right price... they're sort of a gunmetal and need to be repainted.. i may just keepem and repaint the whole shizit.. btw i'm with that guy who dosn't condone incorrect use of chassis codes.. cuz everytime i see someone say eg.. i think they have a right hand drive 5g.. then it makes me feel all not unique :]

the eg mirrors need to be shaved a little on the top to fit on the ek. . does anyone want to buy my ek mirrors here? haha. . .

Either get the Vision/Spoon ones or get another stock 5th gen one. The 6th gen ones are ugly. I would know, I own a 6th gen civic and didn't like them from the day I bought my car.

stock usdm ek mirrors are the ugliest mirrors made by honda...i have a set to give out for free (black for that JDM look)
