who has ran 300+ whp on oem head bolts or 16+psi boost
with out blowing there head gasket?

I'm curious cause they dont make them for the F series.

 

stock bolts will hold used them all last year motor made 450hp@24lbs never had a proplem just need to check them every once and awhile just like any other head bolt

 

I've been using the same stock head bolts on my motor since day one (turboed for over 2 years). I run over 300whp daily driver and race it at over 500whp. It sees anywhere from 10psi to 24psi. No problems, none at all (this is with an H23A motor).

While mine was gettin tuned, at 13psi the head rose/bolts stretched. Its driving fine now at 7psi....i have yet to take the head off yet to find out for sure. Only reason i didnt get arp is cause they didnt make them at the time.

 

was the bolts used and are they brand new oem from honda

Ive seen 20psi on stock headbolts for extended periods of time on a ZC.
