Default DIY Additional Injector Controller?

Just an idea I had.. but is there anyway to make a DIY additional injector controller? Maybe by using an AFC? There's got to be an easy way to run a couple extra injectors without paying the 600 dollars for an AIC. Anyone know?

thanks

Here's what I had in mind.. I would run the usual AFC hack.. and then inline I would splice into a injector line.. and have some sort of potentionmeter to adjust the duty cycle of that injector.. so I would have 8 injectors total.. just like an AIC.

Do a search on google for "5th" or "fifth" "injector". That should bring up some stuff....I've seen a lot of people build little cheapy controllers for an extra injector. I thought about doing it but figured it would be better to do it right...by using the AFC hack getting Hondata now though!

used mf2s go for pretty cheap....under 200 and you'll get the injectors.

is it worth doing that and also running the afc hack? could i possibly boost higher than the 10 psi everyone recommends on a stock motor? or will the tuning be too hard to get it tuned fine enough to run more boost?

Search DIY-EFI for an additional injector controller schematic and program. It's a little more complex to implement properly than you'd think. It takes all the same equipment and more, more time, and more expense than what I propose below.

FYI, combining an AFC "type" of hack with a chip for your ECU is the most reliable way for those of limited funds - it just happens to cost about $100 which is cheaper than an SMC and doesn't butcher your ignition curve like the usual AFC/SMC hacks.

FYI, I'm covered up between projects, work, school, and inundated with broken ****. I'm more than happy to give a quick email pointer to someone who wants to DIY like I have, but if you want someone else to do it for you talking to filetofit about getting the chip burned is your best bet.
