I did my conversion last weekend on my B18B. It went well, got the harness from Blown90hatch, niiiiice!!

My question is what year distributor did you all use?

I have a 92-93 and it doesn't fit on my head!! Only 1 bolt lines up!!
When I put the key in start position the distributor whines, before I start it, weird.

I know for sure its pinned right.

Is the 94-95 distributor different?

Do you know for sure that you got the distributor that originally came with the B18B? Or are you trying to use the distributor from your D series motor? If you want it to bolt up, you'll need a B series non-Vtec distributor, and for OBD1 it'll have to be either a 92-95, or you could use a 96-up if you want to change dizzy plugs.

 

I pulled off a 92 LS myself at the junkyard. My 90-91 distributor fits fine, all three holes. This other on just one hole. The head it is going on is from 94.

 

if you use a 94 head, then you will need an OBD1 B series non vtec distributor. 94-95 ls. or 96 up with the plugs changed.
