Default Quick? Please Confirm(GSR in DA)

Someone please confirm.
Im doing a OBD1 B18C into a 91 Integra(OBDO)
Im going to use Boomslangs OBDO to OBD1 conversion harness.
Im also reusing my ls harness and just making the necessary changes(adding/extending some wires)
Here's my question. Since im going OBD1 i must use an OBD1 Distributor right? If so, then i must clip off the old connectors from my ls distributor and switch em out w/ the connectors off the GSR distributor that's currently on the motor. Is this correct? I can't reuse the ls distributor because its OBDO right? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

I believe that you have to match ECU and distributor generations, at least for OBD0 and OBD1 swaps. The internals are different and the signals going to the ECU would be wrong if you mix them up.
