Default Ls/Turbo bottom block rebuild

Ok heres the deal! I have a 1991 integra LS b18A1 block in my garage that i been dieing to rebuild. All I am concerned about is just building the bottom block first. I've gathered up a list of everything that i will need to do to the bottom end. I need you guys to help clear up any confusion on my mind.

Heres a list of what I know for a fact i'll be getting:
1.Forged rods
2.Forged pistons (CR)8.5:1
3.V-tec oil pump
4.V-tec waterpump
I REPEAT! All I am concerned about is the bottom block, so if I left out any thing that i will have to buy please let me know.

Now!,Heres the confusing part. Basically i need to be cleared up about everything that needs to be taken to a machine shop for.

List of Question:

1.V-tec Oil squirters-Will i need to have them put in and will it be difficult?
2.The crank-What does the machine shop do when they balance your crank and how much?
3.GSR block gridle-Do i really need to get one ? I thought the Ls has a block girdle.
4.I know I will need to have the cylinders walls horned. How much does the machine shop charge to horned a block?

I hope you guy's can help e out and answer my question and fill in anything i left out about building my bottom block

I paid about 80-90 dollars to have my cylinders honed. As for the block girdle I also would like to know.

dont forget about bearings

The machine shop will balance everything so there is no vibrations at all. A girdle would be a good idea. Try and find a set of GSR maincaps and girdle. You will still use your # 1 and 5 Ls maincaps and jsut get it line honed and youll be cool. I dont think its an essential peice but any extra strength will help. Youll probably break a cylinder wall before you loose a main.

Oh and the oil squiters dont even bother with them. You dont need them.

you are going to rebuild with forged pistons which do not require the cooling that the stock cast ones do. Also i would rather have a little more oil pressure in the entire oiling system which can be obtained by plugging the oil squirters.

Why so low on the compression though? 8.5:1 is REALLY low. Your car will actually be faster if you were to run like 9.2:1 with a little less boost. Just make sure everything is tuned right and you should be fine. Also you should really think about getting the block sleeved. The stock LS sleeves will break at the first sign of detonation.
