i got a question i need as many opinoins as possible. Ok i am turbo charging my car in a few months i have a 2nd gen B16a, i have a chance to get a b18c1 bottom end from what i heard the B16a head on the GSR bottom end drops the compression so i will be good 4 turbo so is it a good idea to buy the gsr bottom end???

Well if you get a GSR block you will have more displacement and turbos love bigger displacement. by putting a B16 head on you will drop about .2 points in comprression, if you use a aftermarket headgasket like inline pro or cometic you look to lower you CR even more. Hope that helps, lates.

i would buy the bottom end and you'll be able to make some serious torque. i have the same set up but n/a with type r internals. i ran a 13.7 on street tires. you would have to use arp head studs, or the grs head studs would do just fine. you would also have to use a gsr timing belt. whatever block you use, that's the timing belt you need.
