Default CEL please turn off.

If I trigger a CEL, then fix the problem, how do I turn off the CEL? Do I have to take it to a shop or is there a way I can do it myself?

do one of the following

a) disconnect battery
b) disconnect ecu
c) open hood, open underhood fuse box, remove FI E/M (ECM) FUSE.

Is the FI E/M ECM fuse the same as ECU fuse, because that is the only thing I can see.

OK, it worked. I removed the ECU fuse and disconnected the battery for about 30 mins. The CEL went away. Thanks.
