is there a way to reset the ecu without disconnecting the battery?
is there a way to reset the ecu without disconnecting the battery? i need to clear a check engine light. i've rectify the answer but the light is still on. is there a way? i don't really want to disconnect the battery because of radio/alarm issues. thanks in advance.

is that on the inside fuse box or in the engine bay one. what is it labeled?? thanks!

actually it's not labelled. you have to look on the bottom side of the fuse box to see where the ecu fuse is on the diagram.

I always pull the center connector to my ecu (99si) easier for me to get to than the fuse box...

The 10-15 amp fuse under the hood, marked ecu, pull it for about 15 seconds, that will reset it!

actually, according to the Helms, you pull the ECU Backup fuse. It should be a 10amp one. That will reset it.
