What is this bracket for??
The picture is of the underneath area of the rear seats. There are 2 brackets, one on each side and I have no clue what they are used for.

It's actually 3 pieces. It's called "the rear crossmember" and is only found on Type R's. Stiffens up the chassis. I just removed mine though because I'm replacing it with a welded bar in the same area

ive seen this on NON-ITRs before. Its not itr specific afaik

Arent they clip holders to secure some trim piece?
You know those plactic square things, that you put the screw into?

I checked my inside trunk panels and there is a piece that looks like it is supposed to be attached to that bracket by those plastic clip/snap thingies. I dont think my car had those to begin with though because the brackets look like new. Thanks
