Default Crank pulley replacement (stock-stock)

when i had my swap done, the crank pulley on the motor was chipped about 30 degrees of it, i just bought a replacement oem one and was wondering how difficult it was to do? i know how to do suspension, brake, misc mods, but how hard do you think it would be to swap out the crank pulley? any good sites showing how?

It's not that hard at all... I would stick with an OEM one tho... Aftermarket ones such as Unorthodox etc. are unbalanced and just wear on your bearings faster... This is what I would do, if you have an air compressor you're set and if you don't try to barrow one.. It just makes it a lot easier... There are other ways to lock the crank but you don't have to if you've got an impact gun.. If you've got A/C or PS then you'll first have to loosten those tensioners then remove the corresponding belts.. Next loosten the lower 14mm bolt on the alternator and then the top 12mm... this will allow you to remove the alternator belt.... Then all you have to do is shoot the crank pulley, if you've got an SOHC motor then you'll need a 17mm socket, on a DOHC motor you'll need a 19mm... It should just take a quick zip to get the bolt off but if not like i said there are other ways.. when you pull the crank pulley just be sure not to lose the little KEY that locks the crank pulley to the crank... it works just as a woodruff key on cam spockets work.. Once you pop it off, pop on the new one and reassemble in the reverse order.. Now if you don't have any way of getting an impact gun/aircompressor then you'll have to lock the flywheel/crank in order to get the bolt off by hand... Just search and I'm sure you'll find lots and lots of posts on it... Good Luck
