Default P72 problems on H22

I have a hybrid accord (h22a1) w/ a p72. On my dyno graph, just before vtec (which I have set to 4400) i have a supstantial drop in HP, i have been told that the p72 does this on the h22, but can anyone tell me why, or if there is any way to correct the problem?

actually with it at 4400, we had our best dyno run, putting the most power to the wheels throughout the powerband (minus the large dip before vtec come on of course)

stock p72, w/ a vafc to adjust air/fuel and vtec engagement, i will scan my dyno sheet to show the dip in power that I am talking about

Not all car's are the same. For mine 4,700 rpm Vtec x-over is the best. I would lost power if I activate Vtec x-over at 4,400 rpm. Maybe that dip in power you talk about is that actually your "Vtec" is to early.

and at this rpm interval, you are sure you're not runnin to rich with the adjusted fuel

no, not too rich, air/fuel levels are fine, however, i am throwing a low fuel pressure code currently, i just orded a new fuel pump, fpr, fuel rail, and larger injectors, ( I am using a 70mm throttle body)

Are you running the obd1 injectors or the newer obd2? If your using obd1 the problem is that your running the wrong type of injecors with the wrong type of driver (ecu). Also if you actualy run a program (chp) instead of a VFAC you'll get better results. Also H22 secondaries kick in in the 4k range while GSRs kick in between 5-6k.

even with the correction of fuel you are not correcting timing at all.

btw i myself run peak and hold injecotrs with the resistor pack and a saturated driver ecu (p28) and make great power.
