Default B16a1 Fast Idle

I searched forever about this, but couldnt find what i needed. What USDM part to I purchase the JDM b16a1 fast idle thermo valve for. I called honda and asked them for a 99-00 Civic Si, but they said there is no such thing as a Fast idle thermo valve for it. Any help?

I would check first a 90-93 acura integra.
If that doesn't work, try a 88-91 CRX si.

Is that the one that is on the back onthe intake manifold. If it is just bypass it and leave it pluged in. Also bypass the hose that goes under the throttle body.

No, the FITV is under the TB. Are you sure it is the FITV?

i think you are looking for eacv.. its on the back of the intake manifold and controls the idle at cold starts.

No it doesnt. The FITV controls the idle at cold starts. Thats why its called the "fast idle thermo valve." It is coolant temp controlled. The eacv controls the idle the rest of the time.
