D15B1 distributor work on a VTEC D16Y8 head?

Hey guys, I'm swapping this d16y8 head onto my brothers 92 Dx. Its got the D15b1 non vtec motor, and the new head did not come with a d16y8 distributor. Will the old one work? And does it mount up correctly?
