WIll a d16y7 distributor work on a d16y8 head?
I got a d16y8 head but no dizzy on it. I'm almost ready to swap it out so i was wondering if i can retain my d16y7 dizzy and put it on the d16y8 head. Howbout the throttle body also? will the d16y7 TB work on a d16y8 manifold?

does anyone know the answer to this question, because i would like to know as well. i did a search and this is the only thread concerning this that i found, so please someone help.

The distributor will work. My buddy swaped to a D16Y8 head and he used his Y7 distributor. The throttle body should also bolt up, but I'm not 100% sure!
