I got a ultra-r crank pulley on my ls motor.. its the full race, which only turns the alternator.. my questions is does any one have one on there street car? i dunt think the pulley is either heavy enough or big enough to charge my battery, im always getting stuck cuz my battery is dead. if my alarm is set off.. my battery is dead, and i wont be able to jump it, cuz the battery is way too low on juice. and as of right now the car has nothing in it.. so im wondering if i put a system in it, will i be in even bigger trouble? or is it my alternotor thats no good? any 1 know any info on this product, i had to change the alternotor belt alos to a smaller one.. on the UR web site, it said that the product was streetable, so if any 1 can help or has one on there car and has a system or sumthing lemme know the deal..

 

I would highly suggest getting rid of it. Running a light pulley like that can lead to oil pump failure since it dosen't act as a harmonic dampener like the stock ones do. Besides underdriving your alternator is a bad idea on a street car that has headlights, stereo, etc. The amount of gains that you recieve off of a light pulley don't out weigh the negative side to it. IMO

 

i have the street one but i think its same size(diameter) as your on the alternator. it works fine on my car. check your battery to see if its bad.
