my h22a swap had to be cut short due to me needing the car in a hurry and the unavailability of transmission parts. i was doing a complete swap and converting from auto to manual. can anyone tell me a good place to get any of these parts, whether from a friend or business. i really need to find them quickly.

Shifter Select Cables
Complete Shifter Assembly (and I need a shifter lever and ****)
Clutch Pedal Assembly
Brake Pedal Assembly
Clutch Master
Clutch Fluid Line (master to slave)

The dealership has back orders on most of these parts, and they charge way too much also. i would think the pedal assemblies might be easy to find cheap, but i cant even find them in online auctions. please help if you can.

I have the complete pedal assembly for a 5th gen which includes the two switches on the clutch pedal. If i had caught this posting, I woulda also had the master cylinder and the hard line also. well....hit me up if you still need the pedal assembly. i can ship it to you overnight if you're willing to pay for shipping

Cables are in great shape, 25k on them out of a 5th gen prelude...

 

before you read my next statement, pls keep in the back of your mind that im nowhere near being a mechanic

are the 5th gen cables the exact same thing as the 4th gen? i want to make sure i can get a correct fit.

 

I know I'm a relatively low poster only because I had moved on to another forum after being on this one a few years back (different sn), so I remain humble in my response. But through my friend's personal experience with swapping his transmission (for a 5th gen) a 4th gen's linkage will sit slightly off towards the passenger's side...I can only assume that the fitment will be slightly incorrect, but it is completely workable.

its a salvage yard thing.

 

Cables will work on either generation..... 4th or 5th, they are the same..

 

cool! hold them for me, my mechanic has been looking for these parts and i need to talk to him to make sure he hasnt bought any cables yet. i will talk to him today or tomorrow depending on my mother-in-law (who is in town and needs to go away because i cant get away for 5 seconds without my wife bitching). if the cables do cause a difference of position, ill rig something to get it to work right
