Does anybody on here know the EXACT parts i would need in order to do a auto to manual conversion? I got the money, now i just need the list of parts. Ive tried the SEARCH button and found some threads related to this topic but didnt exactly find the list of parts i was looking for. Thanks.

try searching post bodies instead of titles

for starters you need the tranny, axles, shift linkage, clutch, clutch master cylinder, and hydrolic fluid line, and the pedal assembly.

Sorry. How much do you think the parts alone will be?

I have most of the parts you would need. I have a 92 civic 5 speed parts car. Some of the parts you will need are Clutch pedel assembly, Hydrolic assembly, Passenger transmission mount(the part welded to the frame rail),5 speed instrument cluster and shifter assembly. I think thats all the parts you will need to buy. The motor swap should come with the other parts you will need. $200 for the parts if you need them.

I dont plan on doing a motor swap just yet. I just need all the parts to make my car a manual. Only $200?? For all the parts? Why did Drag say a grand or so and you say only $200?

the work needed to swap a car from auto to manual is what will cost the most $, not only the parts.

honestly, you'd do best to sell your auto car and pick up a cheap manual to convert. you'll save a lotta $ and headache in the long run.

Yeah i already thought about that and i decided not to due to some reasons. I already have a friend who is willing to do it for cheap if i would buy the parts. Im interested in what HOND PWR offered. $200 for the parts am i right? Need some more info on what you were offering. Thanks.

I said a grand because a b16 tranny alone will run you at least 500 bones alone, then you need clutch 250, linkage 150, ect.... I don't think I'm that far off

I should have everything thats bolted to your car. linkage and shifter, pedal assembly,hydro-lines and booster?,right side trans mount (spot welded on) and whatever else you can think of. I have the whole car minus motor and transmission. The only thing you will have to buy is what is bolted to the motor =transmission, clutch and flywheel.

Everything for the parts that you need should not cost over $500. The tranny is the main thing you need and that should be cheap since it's a d-series tranny. My friend converted his auto into maual for $1000. That's including labor and parts. Another guy qouted him for $500 but that seemed kinda sketchy.

nono... I dont have enough money for a b16 yet. I just want to convert my d series motor from auto to manual because my friend offered to do it for cheap if i buy all the parts. $500 sounds about right plus labor. i have a another question, where is the best place to buy this stuff? junkyard?

i'm looking to do this as well to my del Sol Si with the d16 engine. so far, i've found trannies for between 200 and 500 from junkyards and other Honda owners online that helped me out. plus, i found a guy on darksol.com with a package of parts that you will need. not sure what it has, but i guess it contains all the little things you'll need when converting. i'm just wondering if anyone has actually done this and how well it has worked out. i was considering selling the car, but the auto tranny in the car right now is basically shot and it probably woudlnt' sell for much. anyone know of a good place to go to in the Chicago area for this conversion? thanks.
