at times, my car takes like 2 or 3 cranks until it fires up but lately, it just wont even start. i got off work one night and it wouldn't fire up. so i took out the spark plugs cleaned them off, and the car started up fine. 2 days later, the engine floods out again. i dont even crank it long. it just wont start with a couple of cranks.

lately, it has problems starting up every time. i have trouble starting it every time. i am getting a spark, and my battery is fine. and whenever it does start, i smell gas and a shitload of smoke comes out the exhaust. what could it be? ecu?

change your plugs.

 

It's kinda hard to flood an injected motor
