Default turbo parts

does anybody know if it is possible to buy replacement parts for a turbo. I found an old turbo lying around my pop's shop and decided to yoink it, the only problem is that the area where the oil flows into the turbine has a rust hole. is there any way to fix this? if so, any information would help. thanx alot. peash out

Sounds as if it's been sitting around for awile now. If that's the case then a rebuild kit is a must. I got a rebuild kit for mine (Turbonetics T3/T4 for about $160).

I got mine at a local turbo shop. They are rare to find around here. What kind of Turbo is it?

it's definately not a t3/t4 as it more than liekly came off of a Probe or a turbo thunderbird... I haven't done much research on those two cars, so I don't know exactly which ones they use.. if it is the same one as the eclipses it's a 14b, however, I'm pretty sure its not the same turbo... sounds like you'll be spending barrells of money(not realyl, relatively cheap to rebuild) on that turbo but you should definately figure out what it is first.. does it have any numbers and **** on it? or is it too rusted to make out?

It's probably the same turbo that came on the older Mazda 626's, which I do believe are T3's (correct me if I am wrong).
